Membership Information Form
PTO Membership:
Membership donations serve as our primary fundraiser to support the needs of our community. There is no time commitment required with membership. Your donations are truly appreciated and make a huge difference to our students by helping fund the Middle Years IB program, a library assistant, staff appreciation and much more. Please consider joining your Mountainside Middle School PTO at one of the following levels or with an amount of your choosing:
- Cougar Club: $1000 donation ― Includes secure directory access, 2 MMS PE uniforms, AND ALL of the following: donut party in one class, pizza party during lunch, front of the lunch line pass for one week, and message on the marquee for a day**
- Junior Cougar Club: $500 donation ― Includes secure directory access, 2 MMS PE uniforms, AND ONE of the following: donut party in one class, pizza party during lunch, front of the lunch line pass for one week, OR message on the marquee for a day**
- Gold Level: $200 donation ― Receive secure directory access and 2 PE uniforms
- Silver Level: $100 donation ― Receive secure directory access and 1 PE uniform
- Basic Membership: $50 donation ― Receive secure directory access

Welcome to the Mountainside Middle School community! We hope your introduction to MMS has been a positive one. MMS PTO is here to assist all our community members throughout their journey at Mountainside. PTO plays an important role in enhancing the experience for students, staff, and all the MMS community. One way we assist is by paying for teacher resources the district is unable to provide. These are funded in large part by the small membership fees, which add up when many of our families participate. Visit our website to become familiar with what’s happening at MMS. MMS PTO Dollars are hard at work:
- Annual $3,400 subsidizing of IB Training for Staff
- Providing each teacher with a $50 Amazon gift card for classroom supplies
- Hosting Spring Luau student celebration
- Collaborating with MMS Student Government for events and spirit weeks
- Funding supplemental teaching materials for classrooms
- Campus beautification continues for all to enjoy: PTO planted trees, shrubs, cacti, and added artificial turf, new window designs on student center
- Cougar logo decals in student center
- Sound system for assemblies and other student presentations
- Garden contribution
- Funding for STEM education series and lab improvements
- Tables and benches for front courtyard
- Safety support/cameras
- Treats for students throughout the school year for special occasions and testing
- Purchased all item on staff wish lists
